Terms of Use
TL;DR
Brick Pals is free to use. Brick Pals Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription that renews on its own until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. Your pal lives only on your device. Contact us at hey@visnalize.com with any question.
These terms are an agreement between you and Visnalize ("we", "us", "our") about the Brick Pals app for iPhone and Android (the "Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Using the Service
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, modify, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
If you downloaded the Service from the App Store, you may use it only as the App Store's Usage Rules allow.
Brick Pals Pro
Brick Pals Pro unlocks extra features, such as all pals, all screen colors, the always-on pal, the full icon pack and wallpapers. It is offered as:
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions. The yearly plan may include a free trial for people who have not used it before.
- Lifetime, a one-time purchase.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
Subscriptions renew automatically
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your account settings: on iPhone in Settings > your name > Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, the rest of the trial ends.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and their refund rules apply. To ask for a refund, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google through Google Play.
Restoring purchases
To get Pro on a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the Pro screen, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account. Purchases on the App Store and on Google Play are separate: Pro bought on iPhone does not unlock Pro on Android, and the other way around.
Your pal and your data
Your pal and its history are stored only on your device. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot bring back a pal that was lost because the app was deleted, the device was reset, or you chose Start over.
Content and credits
The Service, including its pals, art and code, belongs to Visnalize and is protected by law. The icon pack uses the Pixel icon set by Streamline under the CC BY 4.0 license, changed into two-color pixel art. The icons show what an app does; they are not the logos of, or connected with, any other company.
Changes to the Service
We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms. We will post the new terms on this page. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the Service will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Visnalize is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Apple
If you use the Service on an Apple device, you and Visnalize agree that these terms are between you and Visnalize only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content, has no duty to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. If the Service fails to meet any warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty duty. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
